Shipping and Receiving Clerk

WFI International is looking to fill a SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK POSITION.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for closing out orders in the computer system that have shipped and assisting customers with will call orders.
• Verify, pack and label sales orders lines according to specification.
• Schedules carriers and works with inside and outside customers.
• Processes UPS shipments.
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Maintains areas clean and organized.

Experience:

- 1-3 years related experience and/or training required

- Forklift driving experience required

- Computer knowledge (MS office) required

- Knowledge on FEDEX, UPS software preferred

Education:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
