Job Summary:

Assist Shop Floor Manager (SFM)/Production Manager with organizing and maintaining production in the Lamination department.

Job Role:

  • Assist SFM with rolling out new parts to employees
    • Training
    • Supervising
    • Facilitating processes
  • Train Autoclave cure cycles
    • Load/Unload Autoclave
    • Communicate with SFM to coordinate cure cycles
  • Assist SFM with material inventory control
    • Advise when running out of certain materials
    • Help control material waste
  • Assist SFM with quoting
    • Assist with tracking manufacturing times of new parts/molds
  • Assist SFM with ensuring procedures are followed at all times
    • Notify SFM of any discrepancies
    • Reinforce proper procedures at all times
  • Assist SFM with maintaining a clean and organized workspace
    • Reinforce cleaning procedures with employees if they aren’t being followed
  • Assist in maintaining a good/respectful work environment
    • Notify SFM of any improper behaviors
  • Assist SFM with ensuring required personal protective equipment (PPE) is being worn
    • Notify SFM of any violations
    • Reinforce required PPE with employee if they are not being followed
  • Supervise GSS system processes
  • Conduct daily GSS daily balancing
  • Complete employee performance evaluations/reviews
  • Provide feedback to on SFM and Management on how to increase efficiency
  • Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in composites lamination
  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Must be proficient with MS Office
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
