We're a large print manufacturer located in Monroe, NC (Charlotte Metro), looking for part-time and seasonal workers for our 2023 busy season (Summer and Fall). Summary

The Manufacturing Associate, Part-time/Seasonal, Weekend Shift ($16-$18) Monroe, NC is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment throughout the plant. These duties will be assigned to fit your individual skillset. You will learn about print manufacturing and the process of producing printed material for a wide range of companies.

Compensation

• $16 - $18 hourly

Location: 4120 Goldmine Road, Monroe, NC 28110

• Set up inserting equipment at the beginning of each job according to the specifications provided on the job ticket.
• Insert address tags into mail sacks, or mail trays used for bulk mailing of ID cards, kits, and catalogs.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Keep work area in order and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Able to read postal statements and sort mail accordingly.
• Make adjustments as required to return output to the proper specifications.
• Direct and supervise the work of helpers on the machine.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.
• Communicates status of jobs to department manager
• Follow standard operating procedures according to the department’s guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in printing or mail inserting environment (operating either Pitney Bowes, Kern or Bell and Howell Inserters) is a plus.
• Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.
