Job Description

A diversified international avionics supplier to civil, military, business and commercial aircraft parts and instruments is expanding its team of skilled Electronics Technicians. This is a Direct hire position with company benefits available upon hire once company eligibility is met. Additionally, the position position has both first and second shift availability!.

1st Shift-8am-4:30PM

2nd Shift- 3PM-11:30PM + $1.50 per hour differential

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for calibration of instrumentation, troubleshooting and repair of customer owned units to component level of all analog and digital circuitry.
Follow guidelines and procedures of FAR 145 repair station, interface with engineering directly
Solve problems and validate Acceptance Test Procedures
Utilize the correct software tools to adequately test the unit.

Requirements:
Qualified candidate should have the following background and experience:

Two (2) years technical or equivalent education.
Three (3) to 5 years experience in testing and or maintaining electronic component equipment.
Experience with Surface Mount Technology and through hole solder technology, required
Familiar with video and Ethernet circuitry troubleshooting (Flat Panel Instruments).
Required strong background in electronics troubleshooting to component level.
Experience with ISO 9000.
Must pass eye exam.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Completely fluent on the use of all electronic testing equipment, for example, scopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters .
Knowledge of additional related test equipment preferable

DESIRED

Experience working in the aircraft avionics industry.
IPC-610 Certification.
RF experience highly desired
