Vice President, Investment Banking - Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year

The Vice President in the ECM group will lead efforts in structuring and executing equity and equity-linked transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, and convertible securities. This senior role demands strategic thinking, deep market knowledge, and the ability to manage complex client relationships and transactions.

• Develop and execute equity financing strategies for clients, including structuring and managing public and private equity offerings.
• Lead transaction teams through all phases of deal execution, from pitch to close.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights and advice on equity market conditions to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with other departments (M&A, Debt Capital Markets) to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
• Oversee the preparation of pitch books, financial models, and marketing materials for equity offerings.
• Mentor and manage junior staff, ensuring professional growth and effective contribution to the team.
• Negotiate terms with clients and manage the due diligence process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences and contribute to thought leadership in equity capital markets.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a significant focus on equity capital markets.
• Demonstrated track record of leading successful equity transactions.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment banking products, and regulatory environment.
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience in team management.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
