Summary:
As an Investment Bank Coverage Analyst at Texas Capital Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's investment banking activities by assisting in the development and maintenance of client relationships, conducting financial analysis, and preparing pitch materials. This position offers an opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to various industries and financial products within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company-specific research to identify potential clients and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including valuation analyses (e.g., comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow analysis).
  • Prepare compelling pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings and internal discussions.
  • Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises (debt and equity), and other advisory assignments.
  • Support senior bankers in client outreach, relationship management, and deal origination efforts.
  • * Analyze financial statements, market data, and economic trends to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including product groups, credit, and legal.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and deal-related databases.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for various transactions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance concepts.
  • * Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet is a plus.
  • FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within a prescribed timeframe).
