PT Afterschool Nanny

A family in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a caring but firm part time nanny for their 2 boys ages 2 and 7. The family would like someone who takes likes being silly and playful, can help out with the house and walking the dog, and someone who has the ability to be friendly but firm with boundaries. Hours would be M-F 1230p-530p during the school year and 9a-5p during the summer!

Responsibilities include:

• Engage and interact with both boys
• Maintain daily schedule and routine
• Help straighten up house, walk/feed the dog, meal prep for the kids
• Be punctual
• Being able to resolve and manage situations as they come up
• Help with learning/educational activities
• Keeping and maintaining a safe environment
• Must be vaccinated against COVID

Qualifications

* CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain certification

* At least 1 year certificate from a college or technical school or currently enrolled in higher education institution

* Child development knowledge and skills: significant prior babysitting/nanny experience

* Ownership of a mobile phone and consistent internet access are required for regular communication

* Travel is required with reliable transportation necessary. Access to a vehicle and drivers license may be necessary for some positions

* References, criminal background screen, and driving record check will be required

* Must be vaccinated against COVID19
