CNC Machine Builder/Commissioner

As a Machine Tool Equipment Specialist (also known as CNC Machine Assembler, Machine Builder), you'll be responsible for the mechanical assembly and start-up of machine tool equipment. This includes reading and interpreting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints/drawings, performing geometry checks, troubleshooting machine errors, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. You may also be required to participate in the installation of equipment at customer sites.

• Advanced technician training, completed related apprenticeship, or a minimum of 4 years related experience.
• Understanding of drawings, schematics, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with precision machining assembly.
• NC programming experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of CNC controls (Siemens/Fanuc).
• Time management skills and self-motivation.
• Full understanding of the metric system and strong math skills.
• Good aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work overtime as required and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
