Weighbridge Clerk

The purpose of the Weighbridge Clerk is to provide efficient and effective weighbridge operation for the facility. Assisting the weighbridge team in ensuring the trucks are properly weighed in and dispatched. This is considered an entry-level position with tremendous growth opportunities.  

Responsibilities

1. Generate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as required.
2. Maintain a database of information, which covers all legal documentation of vehicles.
3. Maintain and record data entry into SAP.
4. Issue the loading document to the driver for the outbound process and release the truck for loading and or off-loading.
5. Maintain and organize file daily report by appropriate vendor file.
6. Ensure that containers are weighed, and all necessary data recorded accurately.
7. Control the empty lines to ensure the optimum number of containters are placed on each line in a way that does not hinder operation.

Requirements/Skills

1. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Strong knowledge of Excel 
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
4. Strong organizational skills
5. Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment as well as individually
6. Capable of working under pressure
7. Display positive and professional attitude toward peers and leadership team
8. Must be 18 years old
9. May be required to perform some physical labor 
10. Lift up to 50lbs, job requires extensive pushing, pulling, walking, lifting & repetitive movements
