Job Description

The gig – Overview

The Logistics supervisor will oversee the logistics area under the guidance of the Logistics Leader while processing all incoming and outgoing floral products transiting the building. This role will assist in coordinating with internal and third-party companies that all product is verified prior to being prepped to ship or turned over to production.

What you’ll be up to - Essential Functions

· Verifies all AWB and SAWB pallets are counted and properly separated by our team and/or third-party companies.

· Communicates effectively with 3rd party companies to prepare for tendering and separating incoming products.

· Ensures all dry products are routed, prepped, placed, and staged correctly.

· Oversees all activities involving inbound products.

· Prepares and processes dry pack orders

· Ensures Coolers are always cleaned up and organized

· Provides support with any consolidation receiving / loads as necessary.

· Ensures all safety practices are met, including forklift operations guidelines, proper lifting, work equipment usage, and other company and OSHA-regulated safety practices.

· Other duties as assigned.

Superpowers required - Skills and Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent Required

· Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Ability to quantify any task and turn it into a KPI for optimum efficiency

· Forklift/ Electric Pallet Jack Operator Certification

· Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, third-party labor, and vendors.

· Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
