Warehouse - Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Clarke in Roselle, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk that will be responsible for performing warehouse activities associated with shipping and receiving activities

This position generally works a 7AM-4PM schedule, Monday-Friday (end times may vary). The average workweek is 40 hours and offers overtime potential based on business needs.

JOB TASKS

• Fulfill orders/picklists by pulling stock
• Stage LTL and truckload orders
• Prepare daily Fed Ex small pack shipments
• Receive inbound shipments
• Maintain adequate levels of inventory
• Perform inspection of goods
• Deliver packages to internal customers
• Utilize bar code scanners to maintain received inventory
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by inspecting equipment, maintaining labels, and reporting safety hazards to the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma / GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver license
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Minimum 1-3 years experience operating standup hi reach forklifts (Crown Lift Truck preferred), operating sit-down forklifts
• Capable of loading and unloading heavy pallets utilizing stand up reach truck into racks up to 5 levels high (24 feet), working in a chemical environment (Hazmat experience preferred)
• Ability to work in fast paced work environment
