Purpose:

The Mailroom Clerk/Transaction Coordinator processes incoming mail to ensure it goes to the appropriate department. The Mailroom clerk also processes basic incoming mortgage documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ships outgoing and incoming FedEx packages and mail.
  • Sorts through and distributes incoming packages and mail.
  • Processes some mail from start to finish.
  • Sends insurance, tile and deed documents to investors.
  • Completes other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assists other departments in processing as needed.
  • Responds to questions from staff regarding the status of packages

Qualifications:
  • College degree or working towards degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous administrative office experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and prioritization
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Must be able to lift boxes up to 45 pounds
