Heavy Equipment Mechanic

F. M. Kitchens Construction out of Jefferson, Ga is looking to hire another full time, diesel and heavy equipment mechanic.

Experience is a must and pay is based on the level of experience. Starting pay can be negotiated but expected to be in the $30-35/hr range.

Our shop is located in Jefferson, GA however this position will have you travel to jobsites almost daily. Home every night and most jobs located north of Atlanta in the Hall and Gwinnett county areas.

We are looking for someone we can rely on to show up daily and put in the effort needed to get the job done. This is NOT a 9-5 job. We work in all weather conditions and long hours. In the shop and in the field. The company is only successful if our equipment is running and it is our job as mechanics to keep them that way. You WILL be rewarded for you efforts and hard work DOES NOT go unnoticed in this company.

Applicants must be able to pass a drug test, have a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical.
