Join our team as an Inspector Packer on the dynamic second shift at our cutting-edge plastics manufacturing facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency as you inspect, trim, and pack our finished products. Activities

Utilize tools such as knives, punches, reamers, and spin trimming equipment to trim excess materials from products.
Construct cartons and pack quality containers appropriately, or secure products using caps, sides, and banding techniques.
Monitor machine operations, promptly addressing and reporting any issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and verify proper labeling and defect-free status.
Maintain adequate supplies in ink trays and glue tanks, ensuring uninterrupted production.
Complete necessary paperwork, initial production forms, apply and manage labels on bundles or units.
Assist in wrapping products and maintain continuous cleanliness and organization of the production area.
Adhere to all quality and safety standards during all tasks.

Requirements

Capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying for extended periods.
Excellent manual coordination and the ability to handle various tools effectively.
Must possess the visual acuity to inspect products closely and ensure quality.
Experience in manufacturing or packing is preferred but not essential.
Work near moving mechanical parts with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.
Protective clothing such as hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves will be required.
Physical demands include medium to heavy work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
