Department Supervisor - Graveyard

Gensco has an immediate opening for a Graveyard Department Supervisor at our Distribution Center in Tacoma, WA!

Schedule - Monday-Friday Graveyard Shift 12:30am–9:00am
Full Time - starting pay range $30-$35 per hour based on experience

Day to Day Supervisor Activities

• Responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehousing, delivery, and customer service functions of a Branch Warehouse
• Responsible for Team building, implementing continuous education processes for all Branch Team Members, establishing objective and measurable goals, and clearly communicating these goals and standards to Branch Team
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude toward fellow Team Members and Customers
•  Suggest and implement improvements in warehouse cost management, best practices, and operational process design and implementation

Warehouse Team Member Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• AA degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2+ years related experience with Gensco or equivalent preferred
• Prior direct customer service experience – desire to work directly with customers
• Excellent knowledge of the products Gensco sells
•  Understanding of inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery functions
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to frequently work at heights up to 30 feet
• Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts
