Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Processing Technician to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, involving diverse job duties ranging from mold setting and forklift operation to processing expertise. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence by ensuring the efficient and precise execution of processing tasks while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

•Mold Setting: Set up molds for the production of elevator buckets according to established specifications and procedures.
•Processing Operations: Operate processing equipment with precision and efficiency, including but not limited to injection molding machines, extruders, and other machinery.
•Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed to uphold quality standards.
•Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, finished products, and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
•Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately tracking materials usage, conducting periodic inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
•Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize manufacturing operations.
•Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production logs, equipment maintenance records, and quality assurance documentation.
•Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve production targets and address any operational challenges that may arise.
•Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in processing and manufacturing to enhance job performance and contribute to the company's competitive edge.

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
•Proven experience in processing operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•Demonstrated ability to set up molds and operate processing equipment with precision.
•Valid forklift operator certification and experience in forklift operation.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
•Solid communication and teamwork skills.
•Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Benefits:

-Shift : 7:00am - 3:45pm Monday-Friday with 45 minute lunch - Some weekend work may be required
