As an Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Manager in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

This position can be remote anywhere in the U.S.

The purpose of the Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Manager role is to develop and implement comprehensive learning solutions on cybersecurity within our organization. This position is crucial in building cyber resiliency by equipping our employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify and prevent potential cyber threats. As a learning and development professional, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering engaging and impactful training programs that enable our employees to connect their responsibilities to secure behaviors in their daily work. By fostering an understanding of how cybersecurity impacts their specific roles and work activities, you will empower individuals to proactively safeguard our organization's sensitive information and digital assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the organization's cybersecurity training needs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and engaging content for cybersecurity training programs
  • Design and deliver effective training sessions that connect individuals' roles to secure behaviors and highlight the importance of cybersecurity in their work activities
  • Utilize innovative learning methodologies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of training programs
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement or additional support
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees seeking guidance on cybersecurity best practices
  • Foster a culture of cyber awareness and responsibility throughout the organization
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure training content remains current and relevant
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity awareness into existing learning and development initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze cybersecurity metrics and trends to identify areas of concern and develop targeted training interventions
Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 7 years experience OR Masters Degree and 6 years experience OR PhD and 2 years experience

  • Experience developing and maintaining effective training materials

  • Experience with instructional design and learning methodologies creating presentations and learning solutions

  • Knowledge of learning management systems and learner experience platforms in a corporate environment

  • Able to deliver high quality, accurate work within tight deadlines.

  • Excellent analytical, judgment and consultative capabilities and communication skills and the ability to work with IT management and staff.

  • Excellent engagement and adult learning and development skills

  • Information Security experience preferred but not required
