Industrial Machine Repair Technician

Egenolf Industrial Group (EIG) is an industrial services company that is locally owned and has been in business since 1973.  We specialize in millwright and rigging services and do work across the United States.  Based in Indianapolis, we also offer machine and press repair service and inspections.  We have a fully functional machine shop that allows us to make parts as needed.

Job Description:

·         The repair technician is expected to troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on a wide array of machines.  This includes saws, lathes, mills, presses, breaks, and any other machines found in a manufacturing facility.

·         The ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanicals systems.

·         To be able to complete repairs in a timely manner.

·         Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

·         Maintain communication with management regarding current and upcoming projects.

·         Experience with machining and welding is a plus.

·         Experience with operating a fork truck is a plus.

Job Requirements:

·         Three years’ experience in repairing and servicing industrial machines. 

·         To work as a team with our rigging and machining division to ensure company success.

·         The ability to work some weekends and evenings to meet customer needs.

·         Candidate to provide their own hand tools.  Power tools to be provided by employer.

Pay:     $26-$30 per hour
