Junior Staff Accountant

A local Conneaut company is Seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to support financial operations. Responsibilities include assisting with financial recordkeeping, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and preparing reports. The right candidate will be proactive, positive, and driven.

Responsibilities

Assist with financial recordkeeping tasks.
Reconcile accounts and verify transactions.
Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
Prepare financial reports and summaries.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support auditing and compliance efforts.
Perform general accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful completion of accounting classes, associates degree in business preferred.
Experience with accounting software systems.
Solid understanding of AP, AR, and GL accounts.
Strong analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Positive and proactive mindset.

Benefits/Compensation

Full time
$16-$22/Hour based on experience
Monday through Friday
Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

Benefits after Probation period
