Engineering CAD Technician

General Duties:

• Prepare, check and review documents and drawings as required by the Engineering Product Supervisor.
• Revise drawings to reflect current changes and complete drawings.
• Model basic 2D & 3D parts in digital assemblies; prepare drawings, specifications, layouts for patterns, and instructions to production.
• Operates AutoCAD and peripheral equipment and confers with engineering and design staff to convert engineers and technicians’ designs into working computer-drawing packages.
• Operates PTC Creo and peripheral equipment and confers with engineering and design staff to convert engineers and technicians’ designs into working computer model/ drawing packages.
• Work closely with design originators (e.g. Engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies, or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex, or original design, which require a degree of precision.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
 

• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent in CAD.
• Two Years AutoCAD/ PTC Creo Parametric experience.

Compensation starting at $23hr with upward flexibility dependent upon skillset
