Job Description

The VFP Pharmacy Group Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician under the supervision of a Pharmacist, is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in customer service, communication, and problem solving, and will exhibit excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and be a team player in our fast-paced, rewarding work environment.Essential Functions

Picking medication orders
Packing and shipping orders
Completing patient pick-ups
Receiving in product orders on a daily basis
Packaging medication to be shipped to patients
Other pharmacy tasks as needed to ensure accuracy and a positive patient experience

Requirements

Current State of IL Pharmacy Technician License required and CPhT preferred
1+ years experience as a fulfillment pharmacy technician required
Experience in specialty or mail order pharmacy preferred
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Strong customer service skills required
Solid computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Must be able to work full-time with following shift availability: 9:30-6
Once fully trained, must be able to work 1 to 2 Saturdays per month (10-2)
