Sandwich Maker

Jimmy John’s Norwalk location is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sandwich Maker and Delivery Associate. This position requires a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. This position requires upselling to customers at the register and will have quotas to meet on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. (This is for the Norwalk location training will be at the Whittier Location!) 

Responsibilities:

1. Sandwich Making:

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients.

2. Delivery Services:

• Occasional deliveries may be needed
• Take responsibility for a timely and accurate deliveries to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

3. Customer Service:

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.

4. Store Maintenance:

• Keep the sandwich shop clean and organized during downtime.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines.

5. Cash Handling:

• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Process payments and provide receipts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Valid driver’s license for delivery responsibilities.
• Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license for delivery responsibilities.
• Valid car insurance.

Working Hours:

• Flexible scheduling based on business needs.
• May include evenings and weekends.
