Field Manager - Industrial Fabrication

What Will I Do In This Role? We are currently seeking an Industrial Field Manager to lead a crew of 6-7 Industrial Millwrights. This individual will lead a team from start to completion of project. This role is pivotal in the overall growth strategy for our company and clients. You will be responsible for continual development with clients and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is adaptable to different projects and situations. You will need the drive to learn, industrial knowledge, be able to manage and qualify new possible projects. This role requires a highly organized and disciplined individual who is willing to learn and adaptable with different projects. Project scope may vary based on clients needs at the time.

Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers & identify potential new projects.

A strong mechanical background to troubleshoot on the fly.

Safety oriented.

Understand project goals and adapt to changes made by clients.

Meet and exceed project deadlines.

Be a positive representation of company and values.

Be able to travel to facilities.

Be comfortable with paperwork and use of software to keep track of plans & expenses.

Qualifications:

Either a minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing people and/or 10 years of industrial millwright experience.

Proven track record of project completions and/or management.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel) and software.

Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel as needed.
