Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver/Freight Shipping Clerk. This role requires a versatile individual capable of safely operating motor vehicles, managing freight shipments, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

● Safely operate a straight truck and pull a trailer with a company truck.

● Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

● Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicles in good working condition.

● Securely tie down loads to prevent shifting during transit.

● Keep the trucks clean and in good working condition.

● Be physically active, lift up to 60lbs regularly, and get out of the vehicle often.

● Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.

● Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.

● Ability to adapt to changing schedules and delivery routes.

Freight Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

● Schedule shipment dimensions and verify contents of outgoing shipments.

● Determine cost-effective shipping methods and meet delivery timelines.

● Prepare and affix labels and other identification on each shipment.

● Maintain shipping records and update systems with tracking information.

● Ensure accurate documentation and loading of shipments with the correct

carrier.

Qualifications:

● Ability to operate pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment.

● Demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal

supervision.

● Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

● Proficient in computer skills, including Google Sheets and internet-based

applications.

● Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, no accidents or traffic violations

and at least (1) year of experience.

● High school diploma or equivalent.
