Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant with public accounting experience to join our team! You will join our team in an important role working with a variety of great clients at a local CPA firm in Salt Lake City.

Responsibilities:

Preparing a variety of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, estate, gift, individual, not-for-profit
Researching tax issues
Assisting with tax consulting projects
Understanding our clients’ business and tax needs
Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have between 1-4 years of public accounting experience.
A master’s degree, and a CPA license (or working to obtain their CPA license).
Be able to work independently and be highly motivated.
Communication skill to interact with clients and coworkers.
Detail and deadline-oriented with project management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
