We are looking for an experienced (or eager to learn) individual to join our team as Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering & Operations teams to evaluate and improve our manufacturing processes.

What We Offer You

As a Meritech team member, you’ll receive:

  • $65,000– $85,000.00 annual salary to start, payroll every other Thursday.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and 401(k) with company contributions.
  • 3 weeks annually of paid-time-off and sick leave accrual, with increases based on tenure. 
  • Paid company holidays. 

Job Description 

As a hygiene expert at Meritech, you will:

  • Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
  • Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
  • Maintain product and process database by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Maintain & update CAD drawings & models as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering team on various existing and new product design projects.
  • Review and evaluate designs, components, and costs of goods to improve product line value.

Job Requirements 

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing engineering (possessing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, plus 0-2 years of experience in a similar role).
  • Proficient in: 
    • Microsoft Office
    • SolidWorks
    • Arduino & simple coding
    • Design for Manufacturing
    • Operation & maintenance of 3D printers
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • A team player and able to effectively operate in group environment. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented and able to manage time and meet specific deadlines.
  • Able to work with hand tools, including drills, saws, and grinders on occasion.  
  • Able to regularly perform the following physical requirements, with or without accommodations:
    • Frequently: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to evaluate, test, and modify equipment with or without hand tools as needed. 
    • Frequently: Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components. 
    • Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and moving about in factory environment
    • Frequently: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
    • Frequently: Must be able to crouch, bend, and lean to inspect equipment
    • Occasionally: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
