This position is responsible for learning the outlined District Manager position, which includes managing an assigned multi store retail division, which includes but is not limited to, assisting in developing and monitoring budgets, managing all store operational expenses, monitoring inventory levels and mixes, and ensuring customer satisfaction!

DUTIES:

• Visit all retail units as assigned. Schedule, coordinate, and manage production and quality control while maximizing sales revenue.
• Manage Inventory, store fixtures displays and equipment.
• Perform facility inspections on an ongoing basis, follow up on said inspections.
• Maintain files and documentation and report all corrective actions to Vice president of Retail.
• Fill in for staff during vacations and absences.
• Learn daily store operations include sorting donations, pricing and displaying products, maintaining sales records, and processing clothing requisitions.
• Train as well as oversee training for assigned staff and conduct staff meetings as needed.
• Assist in loss prevention.
• Participate in the development of operating budgets, monitor said budgets and take corrective action to ensure compliance.
• Ability to Learn and safely disperse Propane. propane tanks for select locations.
• Increase Sales volumes through improved processes, staffing, sales planning and team building.
• Oversee hiring and recommend corrective action/opportunity for employees as appropriate.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work site.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
• Assist with the acquisition and development of new business and stores start up as assigned.
• Assist in store visual merchandising including displays, tags, and rotation of all donated, new, distressed and closeout goods.
• Take ownership of the store and employee success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

AVAILABILITY:

• Work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to close at an assigned store twice per month.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record to be able to meet driving standards.
• High School Diploma or GED required however an associate degree or Higher preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of prior retail management experience.
• 2 Years experience working with individuals with Disabilities and other Barriers preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to run a cash register, read directions, and orders as well as adhere Confidentiality guidelines.
• Knowledge of budgeting process and experience in reading financial statements.
• Provide exceptional customer service as well as be the example for staff to follow.
• Employer conducts pre-employment drug screen, credit and background check.
• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job. Be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
