Job Description

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related human services field,or two years of post-secondary education in a related human services field and two years of directly related work experience

OR

  • A minimum of five years of directly related work experience. Directly related work experience includes work in the field of developmental disabilities, family home licensing, or child welfare.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Conduct interviews.
  • Work cooperatively with external agencies in support of ADH licensed providers and members
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Current and valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Able to meet all background and personal history checks
  • Two+ years of experience as a Licensing Specialist preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

General Responsibilities:

1. Conducts TRF business in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner that demonstrates understanding and ability to implement TRF’s mission, values, and code of ethics.

2. Provides culturally competent and sensitive interactions with providers, members, professional team members, and fellow staff members.

3. Complete and maintain required training and certifications as required by the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and Office of Licensing, Certification, and Regulation (OLCR).

4. Complete other duties as assigned in support of the TRF Adult Developmental Home (ADH) Program.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Licensing and Monitoring

1. Conduct a ssessment of candidates for licensure to ensure Department of Health & Safety (DHS) licensing qualifications for individuals are met, and OLCR Life-Safety requirements are met for the home environment.

2. Conduct one-to-one interviews with license applicants and compose a clear and concise home study for submission to the OLCR.

3. Conduct monthly home monitoring activities to ensure that the licensed home follows Article 11, Chapter 51 and OLCR Life-Safety requirements.

4. Conduct provider recruitment activities, as needed, in support of Program growth and development.

5. Reviews providers monthly documentation, data tracking and member’s progress.

Case Management

1. Maintain provider licensing file in accordance with the OLCR and DDD applicable regulations (Article 11 and Chapter 51).

2. Prepare and submit provider license renewals and amendments in accordance with timeframes per Chapter 51.

3. Provide timely updates to providers’ electronic records utilizing the OLCR Quick Connect (QC) system.

4. Prepare Behavior Treatment Plans, when applicable, for members in ADH placement. Assist ADH providers and members to implement strategies identified within the BTP.

5. Provide direct support to incoming members and ADH providers to ensure a successful transition into the ADH.

6. Assist and/or advocate for TRF ADH providers and DDD members placed in ADHs at formal meetings, staffing, medication reviews, and Adult Recovery Team (ART) meetings.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
