Job Title: Field Sales Support-Farm, Ranch and Home
Base Location: Montana
Position Description: Our company seeks an outgoing, well-spoken ambassador for our brands to help us promote our products. We are looking for someone who is as passionate about our products and the channel as we are. Someone who can communicate the excitement to customers at Farm, Ranch, Home, Garden Center and Hardware retail locations, ranches, and pop-up events. As part of your responsibilities, you will help develop and set up displays and provide product demonstrations, as needed. Our ideal applicant has some retail or sales experience and is comfortable speaking to a high volume of potential customers about the products our company has to offer. This position will be focused on the Montana-based retailers and supporting states.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Educate & Support In-Store Programs, Retailer and Trade Events and Product interactions
- Build your relationship in order to drive distribution, merchandising and sales goals
- Develop Distributor business within each of the channels assigned
- Be an effective business communicator and writer. You need to be able to send compelling e-mail communications to retailers: New Items, Promotional Opportunities, Data Analysis and Assortment Recommendations
- Develop retailer execution plans for product assortment within your designated geography against approved distributor plans
- Product Placement Audits your, target new retailers /key accounts for Farm & Ranch development within regional geography
- Process sales orders and distribute marketing material
- Travel: 40-60%
- Reliable transportation, cell phone.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Sales or retail experience (a plus)
- Functional Skill Set: Interpersonal, Social Media interactions
- Presentation Skills: Trainings, Retailer Staff interaction, interact w/ Decision makers
- Technical Skill sets: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, NetSuite (CRM), Social Media platforms
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree/or in process Business &/ Marketing or a relevant field studies.
- Required: High school diploma
