Field Supervisor

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is looking for a Field Supervisor which will be responsible for the daily operations of environmental and industrial services for multiple crews.

Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydroblasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Coordinate work schedules / manpower needs.
• Work with team to complete assigned tasks.
• Communicate with subordinates regarding safety, project updates, and human resources issues.
• Complete administrative tasks such as documenting attendance, customer requests, job packs, project coordination and status reports.
• Follow GEIR safety standards.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• 3 hour per month of Leadership training

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 5-8 years’ experience managing and scheduling employees to perform industrial and environmental services required.
• Prior experience in an industrial / plant setting required.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to interface with employees in all levels of the company. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.

• Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
• Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
• Ability to perform work conducted in and around confined spaces and at elevated heights.
• Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be clean-shaven.
• Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. May be called out for Emergency response.
• Maintain valid Driver License - CDL preferable.
• Preferred 4-6 years of hands-on experience and operation with tools / heavy equipment.

PAY:

• (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
