Job Description

Best Health Benefits is a leading health & life insurance broker committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support for their healthcare needs. We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.

 

Position Overview:

As a Full-Time Remote Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Phone Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch customer service to our health insurance clients. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through their health & life insurance plans with care. This role requires strong communication skills, problem solving skills, efficiency, empathy, and an understanding of health & life insurance policies.

Responsibilities:

Customer Support & Retention:

  • Answer incoming calls from existing health or life insurance clients courteously and professionally.
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to their health or life insurance policies, benefits, claims, and other relevant matters.
  • Ability to Multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information to clients regarding coverage details and policy terms.
  • Schedule appointments for clients to review & update their Health or Life insurance policies with our licensed Agents.
  • Proactively reach out to clients to schedule follow-ups, confirm receipt of insurance cards, ensure customer satisfaction, etc.

 

Remote Collaboration:

  • Work effectively in a remote environment, maintaining consistent communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Attend virtual meetings and training sessions as required.

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma with 1-2 years Customer Service experience or minimum of 2-year degree, preferred
  • Extensive phone communication experience, customer service environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
  • Works daily on routine assignments
  • Follows correct processes outlined in the department procedures and guidelines

Anticipated hourly range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
