Narrative Job Summary: 

We are seeking a full-time, regular System Administrator to join our talented, dynamic team supporting our customers in Titusville, Florida. The selected candidate will be working on government Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. Responsibilities include daily network monitoring of NOC nodes, infrastructure systems maintenance, and troubleshooting of various network and related computer systems. Job location is located in Titusville, FL. Travel may be required to multiple locations across the US.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Basic knowledge of networking 
• Ability to create and follow IT related policies and procedures.  
• Root Cause analysis of baseline system defects, hardware, and software.  
• Administer Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, and Certificate Services.
• Administer Microsoft SQL servers.
• Manage network storage devices (SAN / NAS)
• Troubleshoot issues dealing with systems/network and subsystems, identify/analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, and database size integrity checks.
• Assist with helpdesk related duties and provide on-call support.
• Perform other duties and assist with special projects and installments as assigned.

Expected core competencies: 

• Proficient with Microsoft Server and PC Operating Systems 
• Proficient with Linux Operating System
• Advanced working knowledge of computers and computer systems 
• Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.   
• Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job. 
• Use technical information in operation and maintenance activities 
• Use latest information in the field of training techniques and technologies 

Qualifications:

• Must have at least five years of experience including systems administration
• Required certifications:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent
  • Security+
• Additional certifications a plus: MCP, MCSA, CCNA, VCP, Storage
• Related military training and/or job experience is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
