Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Summary:

The Investment Banking Analyst in our ECM group will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of equity offerings, including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-ons, and private placements. This position requires a blend of analytical rigor and market intuition to advise clients on capital raising strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate equity capital raising alternatives.
  • Support the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions.
  • Prepare presentation materials and pitch books for client meetings.
  • Assist in managing relationships with issuers and investors, providing market insights and strategic advice.
  • Participate in the execution of deals, coordinating with clients, legal teams, and other advisors.
  • Analyze market trends and data to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of current transactions and monitor market conditions.
  • Contribute to internal strategy meetings to discuss market conditions, deal pipeline, and client strategy.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and due diligence processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to project outcomes and advise on transaction structuring.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with exposure to ECM.
  • Deep understanding of equity markets and financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
