Firkins Automotive is currently looking for certified Chrysler Technicians, ASE certified, or EOM certifications to join our growing family.

Qualifications:

- 6+ months of Technician/Mechanic Experience Preferred
- Proficient in use of Common Automotive Repair Tools and Equipment
- ASE, MOPAR, or Chrysler Certification Preferred
- Valid Driver's License Required

Responsibilities:

- Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair in a timely manner
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to the service advisors and with customers in a non-technical manner
- Continually learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay in-line with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Maintain a safe environment while keeping the customer's car clean
- Work diligently as a team player with a positive attitude
