Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist

At dakBUILT, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team as CNC Machinists. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, utilizing your skills to program, set up, and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality components and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your expertise in CNC machining to program, set up, and operate our router, edgebander, dowel/boring machine, and other related equipment.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure the efficient flow of materials and timely completion of projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect completed workpieces using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret blueprints, drawings, and models, and make any necessary adjustments to programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including machine settings, tooling changes, and quality control checks.
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC programming and operating procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and models.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
