Training Specialist - Outpatient Mental Health Clinic & Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working within outpatient mental health clinics (OMHC) and psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP), along with expertise in training and development.

Responsibilities:

• Internal training sessions, focusing on Accreditation NOW and CARF required trainings.

• Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to translate complex information and concepts into visually appealing, effective presentations.
• Conduct the New Hire Orientation(Virtually) and oversee the scheduling of New Hire Orientations.
  
• Operate independently and collaboratively within the team to deliver exceptional training solutions.
• Conduct instructional and training sessions
• Provide virtual assistance with Accreditation NOW office hours.
  
• Develop and update training content, presentations, standard job instructions (SJIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and develop technical, on-the-job training programs to facilitate understanding and use of information technology-based tools or solutions.
• Stay updated on adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in training and development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health clinics (OMHC) and psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP) is required.
  
• Knowledge of Accreditation NOW and CARF required trainings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with remarkable stage presence.
• Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, classroom and web-based instruction.
• Experience in curriculum design and development.
• Proficiency in eLearning platforms and learning management systems (LMS).
• Detail-oriented with strong researching skills.
• Ability to lead training sessions effectively and engage learners.
• Certification in training and development is a plus.
