Accounting Manager

We are seeking a motivated accounting professional who can lead by example and mentor a diverse and capable team to help the department reach new levels of performance.

American Alarm is the regional leader in the security and life-safety systems industry. The Accounting Manager will lead a group of six people and work collaboratively with all other departments to promote cooperation, process improvement and achieve company goals.

The job: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Reporting to the Accounting Director, the Accounting Manager plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and integrity of the organization.

Experience sought: A minimum of 10 years accounting experience, now in a supervisory role, with demonstrated knowledge across all accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, payroll and cash management. An advanced degree in accounting is required. A CPA is preferred.
