Shipping/Receiving/assembly - Lancaster , OH

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving/assembly Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse environment.

Duties:
- Process incoming shipments, verifying the contents against purchase orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and selecting appropriate shipping methods
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Operate forklifts or reach trucks to move materials as needed
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations

Skills:
- Proficiency in order fulfillment processes
- Experience with picking, packing, and stocking procedures
- Strong understanding of basic math for inventory counting and verification
- Ability to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Certification in forklift operation is a plus
