Collision Repair Technician:
- As a collision repair technician, your primary responsibility is to assess, repair, and replace damaged or worn-out body parts on vehicles. This includes panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers.
- You'll determine whether the damage has affected the structural integrity of the vehicle and check if any mechanical repairs are necessary.
- Finally, you'll restore the vehicle to its original condition, both in terms of appearance and functionality.
Vehicle Restoration Specialist:
- If you're looking for a flexible, creative, and exciting career, vehicle restoration might be a perfect fit.
- Vehicle restoration can be as niche or as broad as you like, depending on your interests and skills.
- As a vehicle restorer, you'll need a good understanding of automotive mechanics and an appreciation for the aesthetics of various vehicles.
- Techniques you'll use include sandblasting, welding, painting, and upholstery.
