Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Supervise and direct the operation, administration, and personnel activities for the District office.
  • Manage day-to-day operation of shop, yard, parts and office personnel.
  • COMPANY Technical Services - Senior advisor 
  • Plan, develop and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
  • Directed training to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
  • Conferred with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance issues and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of the equipment.
  • Strong focus towards serving internal and external customers with courtesy, tact, calmness, timeliness, sincerity, and empathy.
  • Successful problem-solving skills, including the identification, resolution, prevention of problems, and being a good listener.
  • Effective speaking and writing skill and ability, including face-to-face, by phone, email, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Computer proficiency, including ability to use e-mail, Microsoft Word and Excel, PDFs, etc.
  • Ability to meet shipping dates, customer requirements and negotiate the best available freight rates.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to plan and prioritize work activities with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Responsible for purchasing office, shop supplies, control of parts and inventory.
  • Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • Enforcing safety regulations, standards and Company policies.
  • Responsible for timely completion and submission of required paperwork and reports to the Corporate office. 
  • Generate annual performance evaluations for each employee. 
  • Coaching and resolution of conflicts in a positive manner.
  • Motivate employees to achieve work goals.
