Position Overview:
We have a full-time School Social Worker opening with one of our partner schools in Berwyn, IL that will cover an FMLA Leave. The Social Worker will be working between two Elementary schools in this district. This role is beginning on August 21st and will end after Thanksgiving Break. *There is a possibility this role may turn into a full year leave.*

Job Responsibilities:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:10am-3:10pm.
• Work between two Elementary schools within the district (4 days at one school, 1 day at the other).
• Manage a caseload of K-5th grade students through social, emotional, and academic enrichment programs.
• Advocate for the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students.
• Provide counseling (1:1, small group, whole group) to students.
• Collaborate with other staff, parents, families, and community resources.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure student safety and success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
• Eligible Professional Educators License (PEL)
• Preferred experience in a K-5 setting, but is not required
