Service Technician at World Wide Corals

World Wide Corals in Orlando, FL is looking for a Service Technician to join our world-renowned team. We are located on 5402 Central Florida Parkway. Our ideal candidate is an experienced hobbyist passionate and adept in the coral reefing industry.

Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced hobbyist experience (more than five years) required
• Previous work experience in the reefing industry preferred
• Ample knowledge of saltwater aquariums, livestock and systems required

Job Overview: 

This position is responsible for maintaining client aquariums, installing and moving customer's aquariums, completing needed repairs, and driving a company vehicle to client's homes and businesses.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Operating a company vehicle to go to and from job sites
• Performing tasks on Jobber
• Preparing all supplies/ materials needed for assigned jobs daily
• Performing aquarium moves
• Performing aquarium installation
• Performing aquarium breakdowns
• Selecting/ bagging corals to bring to service customers
• Interacting with and/or advising service customers
• Carrying water jugs/ buckets
• Carrying equipment/ supplies (up to 50 lbs)
• Performing water quality tests
• Performing aquarium health checks
• Performing pest control/ removal
• Performing equipment checks
• Programming aquarium equipment, such as Lights, Apex, pumps, etc.
• Plumbing Filtration/ Circulation systems
• Selecting/ bagging corals to bring to service customers
• Loading/unloading aquarium build equipment and supplies
• Performing water changes (siphoning water from the aquarium, replenishing water via 5g jug or 5g bucket and/or vehicle water container with hose)
• Maintaining a Clean and organized work area at all times (This includes, but is not limited to: Job sites, Warehouse areas, and service vehicles)

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Wage:

$17/hr- $20/ hr

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
