Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Operations team as a Maintenance Technician.
Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of skilled mechanical and electrical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment and facilities. The role also involves adhering to all principles of the clients ISO QSEFS Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment, equipment warranties, and maintenance records.
- Upkeep and maintenance of the facility and production equipment.
- Line changeover and adjustment.
- Maintain and manage production equipment spare parts inventory.
- Perform general mechanical work connected with various facilities expansion projects.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and general instructions to plan and layout assignments.
- Assemble and install mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Experience with computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with carpentry, fabrication, and welding.
- 5 years’ experience in facility and winery production equipment maintenance.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is desirable.
- Knowledge of facility electricity, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Team player with the ability to negotiate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Special Conditions:
- Some out-of-hours work may be required.
- Intra/Interstate travel as required.
- Current driver’s license.
- Work is performed in a general production area and/or office environment with regular demands for moving, lifting/carrying/lowering up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing, and pushing.
