Summary

Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as language, cognitive, social, and motor skills.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, cared for, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers through open communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess children's progress and behavior, and communicate findings to parents through regular progress reports and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to plan and coordinate special events and holiday celebrations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic daycare environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
- Background Check, Doctor's Physical, DHS Training upon being hired and before starting work.
