Quality Control Associate

Quality Control Technician (Monticello, MN)

1st shift:M-F 7am-5pm

Pay: $18-23 an hour

Job Duties:

Inspect products for defects in electrical functionality

Verify product assembly wiring is up to corporate standards and matches wiring schematic

Must be able to operate and understand various types of basic test equipment.

Must have a basic knowledge of electronics and be able to read wiring diagrams.

Coordinate product with the correct decals, decal information, instructions and manual.

QC procedures are updated via written or verbal communication to design-engineering.

Documentation

To complete and make suggestions on appropriate product documentation for final check-out and inspection.

Records test data, writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

Keep an accurate error log going to trace production problems.

Physical/skill Requirements

·Employee is walking or standing 80% of the work day

Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

Computer entry 50% of the time

20/20 corrected vision, color, close, distance, peripheral and depth perception required
