Job description

Process Control Technician- 2nd Shift

2:00pm- 10:30pm Monday- Friday



Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Process Control Technician to uphold the highest standards across all manufacturing production departments. In this role, you will implement process quality practices and systems, validate processes, document findings, and train staff to ensure consistent production quality. We are seeking an individual committed to adhering to personnel, product, and food safety regulations.

Education:

  • Preferred Associate's degree equivalent experience.
  • Preferred ASQ certification as a Process Control Technician or equivalent experience.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as a Process Control Technician preferably in a printing and/ or manufacturing environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Meticulous attention to detail with audits, data, and documentation.
  • Proficient in quality processes and statistical techniques.
  • Knowledgeable with tape measures and testing equipment.
  • Ability to coordinate and follow through on project aspects effectively.
  • Basic level of computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Production Control Coordinator, SQF Practitioner, Customer Service Manager, Plant Manager, and production staff to review and validate quality processes and systems.
  • Oversee calibration of measurement and testing equipment.
  • Assist in conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points, establishing preventive measures, and monitoring procedures.
  • Address customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions as required.
  • Conduct program audits and surveillance to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Report any actual or potential food safety issues to management.
