Logistics Coordinator - Mendota Heights

The role is in-office for training with the possibility of some flexibility down the road. 

•             Order Entry

o             Process, verify and enter load data into the Transportation Management System (TMS)

o             Schedule pickup and delivery appointments

•             Carrier Management

o             Locate carrier capacity and negotiate competitive rates

o             Vet, add, and assure carrier compliance and records in our TMS

o             Build and maintain carrier relationships to ensure capacity

•             Load Management

o             Confirm load requirements with carrier dispatchers and process rate confirmations

o             Manage daily activity through check calls and emails

o             Maintain real-time status updates in our TMS; pickup, locations, ETA, delivery, etc.

o             Flag potential transit issues and OS&D’s, prevent losses, notify team members

Preferred Experience:

•             Experience in Logistics, or related field (Preferred)

•             Experience with food shippers, receivers, or intermediary

•             Training or degree in Business, Logistics, Sales, Communication, or related field
