Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve optimal oral health and maintain beautiful smiles.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and screenings, including examinations for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis or periodontitis.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of dental aids.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect teeth from decay.
Take dental x-rays and assist the dentist in evaluating dental conditions.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively.
Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records.
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in using dental software for record-keeping and treatment planning.
