Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic sought for a direct-hire permanent employment opportunity in North Suburban Salt Lake City, Utah.

Maintenance Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs all equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with the procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Use various range of tools from pneumatic, hand, welding, and electrical.
• Can troubleshoot and repair parts by using shop and equipment.
• Can complete and fill out necessary paperwork that is required per task.
• Ensures equipment is functioning to perform long-term usage and reliability.
• Can solve a problem on equipment getting to the root cause of failure.
• Maintain the required welding certification as required by SER.
• Work with Maintenance crafts, Operations, and Projects to ensure all equipment within the refinery is in top working order.
• Ensure that all mechanical equipment needs are met. This may include repair and new installation.
• Ensures that all safe work practices are a top priority.

Maintenance Mechanic Experience Requirements:

• Experience of 5 years or better is preferred.
• In possession of a valid state driver’s license or ID card.
• Construction equipment experience is strongly preferred.
• The maintenance mechanic can communicate effectively to solve problems with peers in a mature and professional manner.
• Must have industrial equipment or refinery equipment maintenance experience.
