Job Description: We are looking for a responsible Shipping & Receiving Clerk with a CDLto order and receive product, move/disseminate product through the facility, and prepare product for shipping. Candidate shouldhave a great eye for detail and basic math skills. The candidateshould havesome physical strengths to unload shipments as well assome computer andclerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.Responsibilities:
Review documentation / work orders, check paperwork
Set up and prepare product for shipping:
Move product in/around the facility & reel yard, Build cradles, Prepare product: weigh, wrap, document / check documents, and load and unload trucks
Operate variety of vehicles inside and outside of building
Organize, fill and replace fork truck propane cylinders.
Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Communicate with supervisors/managers and lead operators
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
Proven experience working in shipping and receiving or similar position
Experience in operating forklifts
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data (axiom a plus)
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
Basic math and recording abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Keen eye for detail
Requirements
Minimum Class B license
